Hi! My name is Anna, and I’m excited to welcome you to Bark Babes. This business is the result of my background in biological sciences and animal rescue, as well as a deep understanding of what it feels like to struggle with the behavior of a dog you love. The journey began in 2021 when my partner and I welcomed Baron, our first dog into our family.

Baron is lovable and gentle. He loves cuddles and being goofy in the yard. In many ways he is perfect. He is also terrified of other dogs and will make a terrible scene of barking and lunging whenever he sees one. He gets so upset in these moments that my sweet old man turns into a bite risk. Finding help online was so difficult that I ended up diving head-first into the dog training world. A year later, we adopted our second dog, Suzie, who of course came with her own set of challenges and the need to manage a multi-dog household. Eventually, my search for information propelled me into a new career path and I began to study at the Academy for Dog Trainers, a prestigious institution recognized for its commitment to training excellence worldwide.

I empathize with the frustration and embarrassment problemed behaviors can bring, and the uncertainty that comes with navigating the sea of dog training information, much of which is based on personal opinions rather than scientific evidence.
